Lindsey, nicknamed and is known by most people as, Lou, got the idea of starting her own business, Lou's Doggy Doo’s, by watching, helping, and learning at a young age growing up from her parents, who own Walter's Electric. Lou is the youngest out of 5 kids, where she got to see the endurance, hard work, and dedication her dad put into growing his own family business, and how hard he worked for his great reputation. She respected how he made relationships with customers by being honest, upfront, and always providing the best quality services at an affordable cost. Customers value him and his company for this and he makes sure his company continues to always maintain that philosophy, no matter the job. Lou respected this philosophy she was taught growing up and never thought of becoming her own business, but if she did, she wanted the same one as her family's business.

Well, after graduating high school, Lou went to grooming school at Rio Gran Grooming Salon and School in Hastings, where she has always had a love for dogs! Lou would explain this time here as "AMAZING! life changing, & she absolutely loved it!" Lou fell in love with the perfection of grooming animals and knew it was something she would want to do for an exceptionally long time.
After graduating Rio, Lou debated opening her own grooming place but at the time, she was not sure if she was ready. Being a business owner comes with a lot of stress, pressure, and finances, where being young and trying to still figure life out, this was not in the cards just yet.

Fast forward a few jobs, years, experience, and lots of hard, long hours of contemplating later, here we are! Lou's Doggy Doos! Her very own dog salon. Here, she gets to care and help for the animals she loves, education others about their fur friends that they may not have been in the past, and provide the best quality services that are affordable, just like her family has!

Lou wants what is best for your fur companion. She is genuine, caring, compassionate, and honest, which she feels is a huge value that most people do not get now a days. Lou offers a variety of professional grooming services, while giving your fur baby the best care possible, and the best part is... she is doing it at a cost that is affordable to you! She values your fur companion and your business, where she looks to make relationships last a lifetime and a place not where just you enjoy coming to, but your fur friend too!

It's Not Working When You Do What You Love!
Lindsey has 2 fur babies herself, Balto and Bruce. She has grown up with fur companions her whole life and each customer that brings their fur friend in, that she meets becomes part of the growing family! Lou builds a trusting bond with each fur friend that lasts forever! Which in return, makes each service for Lou and your fur companion, comfortable, excited, and feeling like they are getting pampered! Building bonds with each pet is more important than the service itself. This makes the pet build trust, which makes the service go smooth. "My job is not a job, when you love what you do!
